The Home Inspection
Because JDX is thorough, our inspections last between five to six hours on average. We look at all the items that the others do and beyond. We understand that your time is valuable, so we have you join us at the end of the inspection and perform a walk through of the home. Typically, this will only use about a half hour of your time.

On one part of the foundation, walls and floor inspection, JDX even uses a digitally calibrated Inclinometer for unsurpassed accuracy, checking for compliance with building code standards.

Flir E8 Infrared Camera
JDX uses the E8 professional level infrared camera for inspecting your home for insulation deficiencies and hidden moisture areas from leaking roofs and water pipes. We don't want you to settle for someone using an entry level infrared camera or an app on a phone.
Fieldpiece JL3KH6 Wireless Kit
JDX installs Fieldpiece's state of the art wireless diagnostic kit to test and analyze your central air conditioning system for proper operation. In cooler temperatures below 65 degrees we use the pressure probe to at least test for proper static pressure.
Sure Test Circuit Analyzer
One portion of your electrical system analysis is checking for open grounds, proper voltage supply, correct impedance and polarities at your receptacles. We also perform load test simulations at various outlets through out your home testing for proper voltage drops.
Orion 930 Moisture Meter
High moisture content in wood is the breeding ground for mold. When testing rafters, trusses, joists, sheathing and wood flooring for moisture, we do not cut corners. We use the Orion series moisture meter by Wagner Meters which has one of the highest standards in the industry for detail and accuracy when inspecting for moisture in your new home.
